Assistant Director, Healthy Ageing
You will support the Head of the Department in driving the development and implementation of cognitive-related Active Ageing Programmes, to improve seniors’ frailty management and wellbeing at Active Ageing Centres (AAC). Working with policymakers, healthcare clusters, community partners and subject matter experts, your key responsibilities include:
- Developing ministry-level papers/proposals and updating management/ministry to support cognitive-related activity provision and implementation at scale
- Using data to identify trends and gaps to guide programme development and implementation of evidence-/interest-informed cognitive-related activities
- Leading the strategy, development, implementation and evaluation of cognitive-related activities at Active Ageing Centres, including areas for improvement
- Building and maintaining quality partnerships with key internal and external partners, including government agencies, healthcare and community care providers to support development and activity implementation
- Providing expertise in programme development, implementation, capability building, resource development, stakeholder engagement and project management
- Overseeing multiple projects concurrently, including reporting, in alignment with identified directions, outcomes and for effectiveness
- Leading and mentoring the team to efficiently achieve objectives and outcomes
Job Requirements:
- Degree in any discipline (healthcare or eldercare, preferred) with 10+ years relevant experience including 3 years in a management
- Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experienced in stakeholder engagement, programme development, implementation and evaluation
- Self-motivated, resourceful with good problem-solving skills, high level of initiative, responsibility and resilience
- Effective verbal and written communicator with strong interpersonal skills and passion to serve seniors
- Experience in healthcare or community care is an advantage
