Assistant Director, Stakeholders' Engagement

Job Description 

You will provide strategic leadership in shaping and driving cross-sector collaborations to support national priorities such as Healthier SG and Age Well SG. You will lead a team to develop and implement stakeholder strategies that enable system-level integration, promote policy alignment, and deliver meaningful health and social outcomes across the community care landscape. This role requires proactive systems thinking, strong analytical acumen, and the ability to translate complex strategies into executable, results-oriented initiatives

  • Develop and lead the overarching stakeholder engagement strategy that aligns with the strategic priorities of the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), ensuring coherence across the Regional Health Systems and community care partners
  • Drive high-level collaborations with AIC Divisions and Regional Health Systems to deliver tangible outcomes such as improved community health, better social-health  integration, and enhanced access for seniors
  • Identify strategic opportunities and policy gaps, employing critical thinking and foresight to recommend innovative engagement approaches that support long-term system transformation
  • Translate national health policies into actionable engagement plans, defining key levers, performance metrics, and feedback loops to guide and optimise implementation
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and liaison to senior-level counterparts at our partner/stakeholder organisation, helping navigate complex issues, align efforts, and enable system-level change
  • Establish outcome metrics to evaluate engagement effectiveness, and guide data-driven decision-making to improve strategies and results
  • Lead regular reviews that integrate stakeholder insights, sector developments, and engagement outcomes to strengthen responsiveness and execution, championing innovation and strategic transformation initiatives
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to foster a high-performance, agile, and outcome-focused team culture
  • Contribute to management reporting, policy reviews, and strategic foresight exercises with forward-looking insights and recommendations for senior leadership

Job Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline, preferably with the Healthcare sector
  • At least 12 years of related working experiences, with at least 4 years in supervisory role
  • Ability to create and maintain collaborative work relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate expertise in project management skills and process improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good attention to details. Must be able to present and interact confidently in large groups and to senior-level officials
  • Responsive and adaptive to a dynamic working environment
  • Confident and comfortable to work with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
