Assistant Manager, Partnership and Development (Dementia Friendly)

This role supports the development, implementation and scaling of Dementia-Friendly Singapore (DFSG) initiatives by working closely with community, corporate and social sector partners. The role focuses on strengthening dementia-friendly initiatives in the community, raising awareness of dementia, and enabling partners to better support persons living with dementia and their caregivers. It also includes supporting programme implementation across different communities, facilitating partnerships, identifying opportunities for improvement based on ground feedback and contributing to the development of resources and initiatives to strengthen the overall ecosystem.

 

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of DFSG initiatives across assigned communities, including awareness efforts and partner engagement
  • Identify gaps in dementia-friendly initiatives through partner feedback and ground observations and propose practical improvements
  • Support national and regional awareness efforts, including public education campaigns, talks and community outreach activities
  • Work with community partners to promote awareness of dementia support services, resources and referral pathways
  • Engage and build working relationships with community, corporate, grassroots and social sector partners to support DFSG initiatives
  • Work with partners to develop or implement dementia-friendly practices within their organisations or communities
  • Support the development and updating of DFSG resources such as toolkits, training materials and engagement initiatives
  • Contribute to cross-team initiatives and share learning from programme implementation to support improvements to DFSG initiatives

 

Job requirements:

  • Degree in community development, public health, healthcare, social sciences or related fields
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in community engagement, healthcare, mental health, ageing or social sector work
  • Experience working with community, corporate, grassroots or social sector partners, including coordinating programmes or initiatives
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal), including preparing reports, presentations and engagement materials
  • Able to manage multiple projects or activities concurrently and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Able to understand ground feedback and translate it into practical improvements to programmes or initiatives
