Assistant Manager, Service Development and Evaluation
This role focuses on supporting sector planning of community mental health services through exploring innovative modalities and initiatives to address existing or emerging gaps, conducting data analysis and ground sensing, and reviewing evolving needs and effectiveness of services. This can include piloting new models of care, service delivery models and enablers to better support persons with mental health and caregivers needs.
- Support sector planning by identifying emerging trends and needs through research, data analysis, literature review, overseas strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
- Research, consolidate and maintain a repository of best practices and assessment tools for quality care
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement to understand ground practices and identify opportunities.
- Work with relevant teams to identify system enablers for sector development.
- Assist in reviewing and refining planning parameters to strengthen care models and sector/service development.
- Contribute to exploring and evaluating new service models and proposals to address gaps and emerging needs.
- Support conceptualising initiatives, assessing and reviewing resources required, followed by implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of projects, including sustainability planning and data analysis.
- Collaborate with teams to implement and monitor pilots, gather insights, refine service models, and share recommendations with stakeholders, translating findings into practice.
Job requirements
- Degree in a healthcare-related discipline, preferably in mental health of at least 3 years of experience in healthcare or community care sectors.
- Relevant work experience in mental health services or programme design and development.
- Strong skills in literature research, project management, data analysis.
- Able to multi-task and demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable managing change and ambiguity.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
