Assistant Manager, Strategic Planning
Strategy, Research and Data Division (SRDD) leads in the forward and strategic planning of AIC using a data-driven and multi-disciplinary approach. We drive research and strategy with partners and stakeholders, towards the vision of fostering a vibrant care community that enables people to live well and age gracefully.
Within SRDD, the Strategic Planning team drives long-term planning and formulates an integrated and strategic view of programmes and enablement initiatives. We work closely with other AIC Divisions to sense-make emerging strategic issues impacting community care, translate insights and national policy into practical strategies and influence stakeholders for alignment. We also facilitate whole-of-AIC engagements with Ministry of Health for cross-cutting issues.
The Assistant Manager will conduct strategic planning initiatives to contribute towards the review, translation and communication of AIC’s strategy:
- Analyse and illuminate the impact of cross-cutting issues on ageing and community care
- Facilitate and staff discussions and workshops with AIC Divisions and other stakeholders for effective sense-making and co-creation of responses
- Develop and maintain frameworks to support prioritisation of initiatives and evaluation of study trips
- Assist with the implementation of impact measurement
- Support the development of content such as meeting materials for Chairman’s or CEO’s engagements and country scans.
Job Requirements:
- Recognised degree in any discipline
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in strategic planning, policy or corporate development, or experience in the health or social care sector will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with numbers and analysing data to derive insights
- Good project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Passion in serving the community care and public sector
- Proactive and conscientious self-starter who is able to work independently
- Strong willingness to learn
- Able to implement solutions in a complex environment
