Assistant Manager / Senior Executive, Grant Administration
This role is responsible for evaluating, processing, and reporting grant claims while ensuring compliance, managing accruals, and supporting audits.
- Evaluate grant claims against established criteria and guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements
- Support reconciliations or claw‑backs where required
- Identify and flag discrepancies or non‑compliance issues
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external organisations on matters pertaining to grant claims processing and audit reporting requirements
- Handle sensitive information in accordance with data protection and confidentiality requirements
- Coordinate and manage the accrual update and management
- Support internal and external audits
- Prepare statistical reports and dashboards for management updates
- Support the updating of internal SOP and guidelines
Job Requirements
- Degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field, with 2 years of operational experience would be preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience in grants administration, financial compliance, or audit-related work is preferred.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills to review claims, track fund utilization, and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to think proactively to address operational issues and propose suitable solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
