Assistant Manager / Senior Executive, Grant Administration

This role is responsible for evaluating, processing, and reporting grant claims while ensuring compliance, managing accruals, and supporting audits.

 

  • Evaluate grant claims against established criteria and guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements
  • Support reconciliations or claw‑backs where required
  • Identify and flag discrepancies or non‑compliance issues
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external organisations on matters pertaining to grant claims processing and audit reporting requirements
  • Handle sensitive information in accordance with data protection and confidentiality requirements
  • Coordinate and manage the accrual update and management
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Prepare statistical reports and dashboards for management updates
  • Support the updating of internal SOP and guidelines

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field, with 2 years of operational experience would be preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in grants administration, financial compliance, or audit-related work is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills to review claims, track fund utilization, and ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to think proactively to address operational issues and propose suitable solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
