Assistant Manager / Senior Executive, Programme Management (Active Ageing - Cognitive)

The Active Ageing Division (AAD) (Cognitive) team co-develops and delivers cognitive-related Active Ageing Programmes (AAPs) in partnership with stakeholders. These AAPs support frailty management and promote seniors’ wellbeing, aligned with national healthcare priorities. This role is an overall central support for programme planning, delivery and evaluation of AIC-led Cognitive AAPs, including alignment with Active Ageing Centres’ (AACs) practices, processes and operational considerations:

 

  • Manage and monitor programme and project timelines, budget utilisation, and documentation, ensuring compliance with organisational and funding requirements.
  • Support vendor appointment and management (e.g. facilitating procurement processes, contract administration, and performance tracking).
  • Coordinate with appointed vendors and partners on data collection, aggregation, and monitoring of programme participation and outcomes for programme reporting and planning.
  • Support engagement of internal and external stakeholders, (e.g. policymakers, subject matter experts, and community partners) through secretariat duties (e.g. meeting coordination, preparation of agenda and minutes, tracking of action items, and follow up status).
  • Partner internal stakeholders to provide programme-related information for public and sector awareness building in relation to cognitive AAPs
  • Review and synthesise cognition and active ageing activity-related research to identify trends, gaps, and implications for programme design and policy alignment.
  • Coordinate input for department workplan and monitor progress updates.  

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in health, social services, public policy, or related fields and a strong interest in ageing, and cognition.
  • Demonstrate good administrative and organisational skills, excel in programme management (such as budget and targets tracking, procurement) in line with organisational standards.
  • Good stakeholder engagement, programme/project coordination skills.
  • Analytical, proactive, meticulous, and self-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; good interpersonal and coordination skills.
  • Responsible, resourceful, and a team player who is comfortable handling both strategic and administrative aspects of programme delivery.
