Assistant Manager/Senior Executive, Data Analytics (Programme Evaluation)

Job Description

  • Generate analytical insights using administrative data and communicating this to relevant internal and external stakeholders:
    • Scope out data and informational needs of key stake holders
    • Propose and refine analytic approach
    • Produce required report in various formats: long-form, slide deck, infographic
  • Actively participates in inter-divisional collaboration work to support the development and evaluation of new services and programmes 
    • Provide input to the development of cogent theories of change and logic models that would inform choice of outcome indicators, study design, sample size calculations, and analytic plan
    • Provide input in data collection methodology
    • Conduct data analysis to produce findings at the end of evaluation
    • Produce sections that summarise evaluation methodology, findings, and conclusions to augment programme managers’ interim and final reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and deliver data-driven solutions
    • Conduct routine and ad hoc data analysis to support various work functions and projects
    • Perform data wrangling, analyse, and interpret complex datasets to answer research and/or operational questions
    • Support automation, text analytics, and machine learning projects to help enhance productivity
  • Support the organisation and presentation of descriptive statistics and figures of information pertinent to AIC’s work on the Intranet


Job Requirements

  • Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience in providing data support to business units preferably in health or social care settings
  • Advanced diploma or certificate in data analytics and programming will be added advantage.
  • Business-oriented and the ability to deliver quality service in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Proficient in data analysis software such as Python, Stata or R programming; 
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI will be a plus;
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint;
  • Good knowledge of statistics and quantitative methods;
  • Able to work well independently and in teams and complete stretch tasks under tight deadlines;
  • Able to handle uncertainty and ambiguity;
  • Attentive to detail and committed to data accuracy;
  • Good written and oral communication skills; and self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects efficiently.
