Assistant Manager/Senior Executive, Sector Engagement

The Assistant Manager/Senior Executive will lead and oversee the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of community engagement initiatives, sector events, and awards platforms targeted at the Community Care sector on behalf of AIC. The role requires project leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate sector needs into impactful programmes and events.

  • In supporting the organisation of Sector-wide Engagement, the candidate is required to:
    Work with Team Lead on the planning and execution of Community Care sector events, including but not limited to:
    o    Sector workshops and engagement sessions
    o    Ground-up initiatives and forums
    o    Large scale in-person and hybrid conferences
    o    Awards and recognition platforms (including processing nominations for selected national-level awards)
    o    Leadership Learning Journeys
  • Support Team Lead to oversee and project manage (including procurement, oversee timelines, budgets, and delivery plans)
  • Ensure the organisation’s events calendar is accurately maintained and applied across communication touchpoints.
  • Prepare reports, post-event reviews, and management updates, including insights, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement.

 

Job Requirements

  • Recognised degree with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience in event management, conference planning, community engagement, programme management, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing events, multi-stakeholder engagements, and handling projects with overlapping timelines.
  • Manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with sound judgement and decision-making.
  • Some stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experienced in organising virtual and hybrid events, including troubleshooting broadcast and live-streaming technologies.
  • Relevant experience in project management, vendor management, and budget oversight is highly advantageous.
