Deputy Director, Channel Engagement Media and Digital

Job Description

  • To lead the strategy, integration and performance of all digital, paid, social, web, events and public relations channels to deliver cohesive, user-centred and high-impact engagement across physical and digital touchpoints.
  • Develop and oversee an integrated channel engagement strategy across web, paid media, social media, events, public relations and physical touchpoints
  • Ensure alignment of messaging across all channels. Align channel plans with organisational priorities and stakeholder needs
  • Oversee customer journey  mapping and implementation across digital platforms, CMS, paid media and social tools
  • Guide investment decisions related to platforms, technology refresh and vendors
  • Set performance frameworks and KPIs for all channels and review analytics, insights and reporting to drive optimisation

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Social Sciences or a related discipline, with at least 15 years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs and national scale campaign and at least 6 years management experience.
  • Proven experience leading integrated, multi-channel engagement strategies across digital, paid media, social, web, events and public relations
  • Strong track record in digital governance, platform management and performance optimisation
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed or public-sector–like environments with multiple stakeholders is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to use data and insights to inform strategy, prioritisation and decision-making
  • Able to multi-task and demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable managing change and ambiguity.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with strategic judgement and systems thinking
