Deputy Director, Communication Strategy and Planning
Job Description
- To lead and drive AIC’s strategic communications by partnering multiple stakeholders to develop and deliver integrated, multi-year national communications plans that advance key national initiatives such as Age Well SG, Healthier SG and Community Mental Health, strengthen public understanding and trust in community care
- Co-create and lead multi-year communications plans for national initiatives (e.g. Age Well SG, Healthier SG, Community Mental Health) in partnership with MOH, agencies, sector partners and internal divisions
- Translate policy and system priorities into clear, coherent campaign narratives and phases
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness and return on investment
- Work closely with government agencies, community care partners, VWOs and internal stakeholders to align objectives, messaging and execution
- Oversee end-to-end planning and delivery of national campaigns, including timelines, budgets and governance processes
- Lead procurement, appointment and management of creative and communications agencies
Job Requirements
- Degree in Communications, Social Sciences or a related discipline, with at least 15 years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs and national scale campaign and at least 6 years management experience.
- Proven experience working across government agencies and complex stakeholder environments.
- Able to multi-task and demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable managing change and ambiguity.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with strategic judgement and systems thinking
