Manager, Assessor Management

We are looking for a candidate to assume the position of Manager, Assessor Management Team, under Client Grants Operations, in Grants Division, AIC.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage of the Assessor Management Team to ensure the team meets the deliverables and KPIs.
  • Plan and develop strategies to ensure high standards of assessor competencies through training (including organising training sessions and tests).
  • Support assessor operations by ensuring assessors have the necessary resources to carry out their assessments.
  • Oversee the conduct of audits on assessors to improve compliance and standards.
  • Develop engagement and communication strategies to ensure assessors are updated on the latest policies and operational matters in relation to their roles and obligations.
  • Work with the Ministry of Health to undertake policy and operations review in relation to assessor management and standards.


Job Requirements

  • A degree holder, preferably with some audit background on healthcare organisations will be advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant managerial or team lead experience.
  • Relevant experience in grant operation management in public sector or private sector in health or social care industry in back office or grant management operations is preferred.
  • Able to balance operational demands and higher policy considerations, as well as working independently.
  • Good project management and organizational skills; strong analytical, writing and research skills; and aptitude for problem solving including numerical analysis and the ability to handle ambiguity and high work pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Change management experience, including communications, engagement, behavioural and cultural change would be added advantage.
  • Able to communicate and articulate effectively – both well verbally and in writing
  • Team player with high level of initiative and strong interpersonal communication skills in handling diverse situations.
  • Detailed, meticulous, organised, resourceful, able to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lead and motivate the team to achieve targets set.
  • Possess good analytical and systems thinking skills, in particular understanding/processing data/statistics.
