Manager, Grant Governance & Compliance

Job Description

  • Partner Sector Divisions in the management of grants to ensure adequate governance and compliance with Grant Policy & Best Practices, from scheme design to closure.
  • Attend Sector Divisions’ enquiries relating to grant management processes
  • Review processes, develop and implement improvements to strengthen grant governance and enhance operational efficiency (e.g. through Robotic Process Automation and/or other analytical tools)
  • Develop and support generation of periodic Operational and Management reports
  • Build capabilities of internal stakeholders and external partners through various initiatives
  • Assist in audit related matters to ensure compliance with audit requirements

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Business Analytics or Statistics
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in audit and financial compliance or grant management / compliance related work with at least 2 years in managerial experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful, meticulous, open-minded and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter with strong learning ability, who is resilient, adaptable and able to manage change and ambiguity
  • Able to multi-task and possess strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of data visualisation/analytical tools such as RPA (UiPath), IDEA Caseware, R, Tableau and VBA will be an added advantage
