Manager, Mental Health (Youth)
This role is responsible for development, implementation, and review of the youth mental health programmes by leading the needs analysis, driving innovation and implementing new delivery models and initiatives to better address emerging trends and the evolving needs of youth mental health in the community.
- Lead development, implementation, and review of youth mental health programmes (YIT, CREST‑Y) under the CMH Masterplan.
- Support sector-wide planning by reviewing youth mental health service landscape, planning parameters, and care model assumptions.
- Drive strategic implementation of youth mental health services within community settings.
- Integrate youth mental health services with education and healthcare systems through collaboration with Regional Health System Offices and other national partners.
- Identify capability gaps and develop strategies and resources with stakeholders to strengthen competencies of CMH service providers.
- Guide and review care model implementation, ensuring alignment to guidelines and enhancement of collaborative care approaches.
- Lead alignment of assessment tools and care pathways for youth mental health, representing AIC in interagency and national platforms.
- Oversee budget, programme evaluation, and sector collaboration, including monitoring outcomes and updating senior management and stakeholders.
Job Requirement:
- Degree in a healthcare-related discipline (preferred)
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in healthcare or community care sectors
- Experience in youth work, mental health or programme design (preferred)
- Proven skills in literature research, project management, and data analysis
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Strong multi-tasking, analytical, problem solving, and project management capabilities
- Self-starter with high learning agility, resilient, adaptable and able to manage change and ambiguity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
