Manager, Silver Guardian Volunteer Mgt

Responsibilities
•    Lead, mentor and supervise team, providing direction and support to achieve positive outcomes.
•    Oversee and provide strategic guidance in the implementation and maintenance of a robust volunteer management IT system to improve efficiency in volunteer management and volunteer scheduling. 
•    Work closely with IT vendor to develop strategy to facilitate and support partners and volunteers in onboarding and troubleshooting the volunteer management IT system within given timeframes, including conducting onsite/virtual briefings and training sessions when needed.
•    Research to identify best practices, trends, and innovative approaches in volunteer management. Implement strategies based on findings to improve volunteer engagement and program effectiveness. 
•    Collect and analyse feedback from partners and volunteers regarding their experience with our volunteer programmes and using insights to recommend improvements. 
•    Oversees data management, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data for reporting and analysis purposes. Measure programme success and identify areas for improvement and prepare reports for reporting and presentations to relevant stakeholders.
•    Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders such as volunteers, partners.
•    Collaborate effectively with other teams within AIC to ensure alignment n AIC to ensure alignment and achieve organisational goals.

Requirements
•    Degree in relevant field is preferred, including but not limited to Social Sciences. HR, IT
•    Minimum 8 years of experience, with 3 years in managerial capacity
•    Experience in volunteer management and volunteer management systems
•    Strong leadership and team management skills.
•    Strong ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
•    Communicate effectively to promote volunteer programmes and initiatives.
•    Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and analytical skills, to derive actionable insights.
•    Proficiency in conducting research and using findings to improve volunteer programmes.
•    Proficiency in data analytics and project management
•    Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 
•    Meticulous and resilient
•    Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment.
