Manager, Subvention Operations

In this role, you will play a key role in translating policy intent into operational execution, overseeing grant disbursement processes, and supporting the development of a national Long-Term Care (LTC) grant system.

 

  • Collaborate with policymakers to interpret policy objectives, evaluate their operational implications, and translate requirements into clear, actionable implementation plans. Close monitoring of progress, address operational challenges, and continually enhance processes to improve effectiveness and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Oversee the grant disbursement process by thoroughly reviewing claims to ensure accuracy and compliance, and facilitating timely payments. Focus on streamlining workflows to enhance productivity, while simultaneously reinforcing controls to uphold robust governance and compliance standards.
  • Oversee audit processes and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Actively involved in the development of the National LTC Subvention System by defining operational requirements and working with system teams to translate these into functional solutions.
  • Work closely with Policy, Operations, IT, and Finance teams to align resources, drive implementation, and ensure seamless integration into business processes.

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline with minimum 8 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in audit is preferred and exposure in grant operation management in the healthcare sector will be an added advantage
  • Experience in managing policy makers and strong stakeholder management is essential.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to navigate complex operational and policy considerations and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions
  • Proven experience in process design, project planning, and system-related work (e.g., requirements gathering, UAT) is preferred
  • Meticulous, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
