Senior Assistant Director/Assistant Director, SGD Operations
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the team to plan the division’s operations based on the mandate and requests by working with external stakeholders for population health and other operations.
- Translate SGD’s operations into operations’ instructions and communicate to the 17 Satellite Offices to ensure smooth implementation and execution.
- Drive the alignment of SGD operations and review its effectiveness and efficiency through feedback and analysis from the Cluster Heads/17 Satellite Offices for continuous process review.
- Optimise the resources for satellite offices by working closely with HQ teams to ensure that the staff/Volunteers are well equipped to deliver to meet the KPI.
- Lead the team to operationalise the workflow and processes to support HQ and Satellite Offices’ ground operations and SGD by leveraging on existing telecentre capabilities or build long term telecentre capabilities if it is deemed necessary.
- Plan, implement and support major SGD projects and pilots with a short timeline.
- Create and disseminate internal communications on matters related to Operations such as admin, HR, system etc to all Satellite Offices.
- Work with stakeholders to plan and execute procurement of materials for Satellite Offices with quick turnaround time.
Job Requirements
- Recognised local degree with minimum 14 years of relevant experience preferably in allied health, social service, or community engagement
- Demonstrated track record of senior managerial or leadership role in a dynamic operations environment, regardless of the previous industry
- Ability to think strategically and propose practical solutions with a long-term view
- Ability to galvanise and lead team to run multiple workstreams concurrently
- Strong stakeholders’ engagement and strong analytical skills
