Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager, Research and Program Evaluation

Job Description

  1. Support the execution and reporting of research and evaluation studies

       Assist in

  • Evaluation design: Participate in discussions with business owners to clarify and document evaluation objectives, timelines, and budget
  • Evaluation planning: Contribute to developing comprehensive evaluation plans tailored to program needs
  • Procurement and vendor support: Support business owners in their procurement processes when evaluations are outsourced
  • In-house Evaluation: Conduct evaluations internally, including:
    • Managing research administration tasks such as ethics reviews
    • Planning and executing data collection strategies
    • Preparing findings for dissemination through slide decks, posters, or manuscripts
    • Liaising with Institution of Higher Learning (IHL), governmental partners, and research or survey vendors

 

  1. Support the conduct of Client Satisfaction Surveys (CSS)

Assist in

  • Survey design and review: Regularly review and update satisfaction survey questions to ensure relevance and clarity
  • Vendor management: Follow the procurement process to select vendors for data collection, manage vendor performance to ensure timeliness and quality, and process payments
  • Data oversight and reporting: Review and verify survey reports for accuracy, and support the dissemination of findings in collaboration with internal divisions
  • Stakeholder engagement: Explain survey findings to internal and external stakeholders effectively, tailoring communication to diverse audiences

 

  1. Support the curation, organisation, and dissemination of relevant scientific knowledge and descriptive statistics on AIC’s intranet

Assist in

  • Content generation through:
  • Curating and summarising information from journal articles into regular releases
  • Critically reading, synthesizing, and interpreting scientific literature for a lay audience
  • Translating numerical statistics into infographics and other data visualization assets to aid understanding and communication

 

 

Job Requirements 

  • A good bachelor’s in relevant business, technology, or engineering specialty, or related field with at least 3 years of working experience preferably in the policy, health, or social care sectors
  • Relevant experience conducting scientific research or providing research support to business units
  • Able to evaluate complex information and identify key issues
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficient in literature search using academic databases and search engines
  • Able to work well independently and in teams
  • Able to handle uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Business-oriented and able to deliver quality work under tight deadlines
  • Flexible, self-motivating, and able to manage multiple projects efficiently
