Senior / Manager, Healthy Ageing Department
The Healthy Ageing Department develops activities, in collaboration with partners, for robust and frail seniors in the community and Community Care sector to support frailty management and wellbeing in alignment with national healthcare directions.
- Lead team members/Engage and collaborate with partners (internal and external) to research, plan, pilot, implement, evaluate and drive improvements for evidence- and interest-informed activities in collaboration with the Community Care sector (such as Active Ageing Centres).
- Sustain and develop new strategic activity-related partnerships to advance the activity ecosystem for seniors
- Develop proposals/ministry-level papers to support activity provisioning and implementation in nationally identified gap areas at scale
- Develop strategies to support activity implementation at scale (e.g. capability building), including differentiated approaches for seniors, esp. under-represented segments
- Engage and manage internal and external stakeholders to gain buy-in and partnerships
- Project manage and evaluate the outcomes and effectiveness of initiatives and its impact on seniors
Job Requirements
- Degree in any discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience and 3 years in a managerial capacity (healthcare qualifications, e.g. Occupational Therapy, preferred)
- Able to thrive under pressure in a fast-pace, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects with excellent project management skills
- Strong in programme management and evaluation, preferably in healthcare, eldercare and/or social services
- Self-motivated, resourceful with good problem-solving skills and a high level of initiative, responsibility and resilience
- Effective communicator (verbal, in writing) with good interpersonal skills and an interest to enhance care for seniors
