Senior / Manager, Senior Learning & Volunteerism (Development & Planning)
Lead a team to drive engagement of potential partners in the sector and conduct grant calls to onboard partners for senior learning and volunteerism initiatives:
- Oversee the operations (i.e. fund administration, tracking, reporting, engagements and marketing) of the initiatives together with a team of account managers.
- Regularly engage partners on challenges and issues in meeting KPIs and mitigate challenges that are within our control (e.g. able to conduct a review of the manpower funding framework leading to reallocation of budget for partners to drive the funded initiatives with greater efficiency and impact).
- Continuously working with team to improve the progress reporting and operational processes between C3AD and partners for better efficiency and profile seniors and partners through stories, testimonials & publicity.
- Drive administration of surveys and any other data collation methods to support evaluation of future funding tranches for learning and volunteerism intiatives.
- Set up the structure for a Community of Practice / Networking platform to engage partners on collaboration opportunities, recruitment and retention issues regularly.
- Work with policy makers to grow the senior learning and volunteerism space by supporting a network of partners to offer a diversity of programmes and opportunities covering various interests.
- Capability build partners to scale up and sustain learning and volunteering for seniors.
- Develop and drive new ideas to strengthen the connection between learning and volunteerism initiatives to bring about greater impact and benefits to seniors.
- Support corporate planning functions, including workplan and budget cycles.
This role is on 2 years contract, subject to renewal.
Job Requirements
- A good bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 8 years of working experience and 2 years in managerial capacity in a leadership role, preferably in the social service or healthcare industry.
- Strong experience in policy formulation, public grant governance and administration, strategy development and project management in public sector.
- Excellent communication and people management skills to mobilise and interact with multiple stakeholders to move towards a collective purpose.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to achieve operational efficiencies in a timely manner.
- Display good understanding on the senior volunteerism sector and how it relates to senior learning.
- Resourceful and has deep understanding on the functions of the health and social care industry and how senior volunteerism and learning can play an integral role.
- Able to translate complex ideas into implementation plans for team to execute.
- Display willingness to learn and collaborate with other divisions and be able to think through analytically on challenges / assigned tasks and provide constructive inputs to improve work processes.
- Experience in development of volunteerism / learning sector, especially with senior volunteers and learners, would be advantageous.
