Senior Manager/Manager, Strategy & Governance (Population Health)
You will support system-level strategic planning and performance monitoring — ensuring that policy intent is translated into disciplined execution across agencies, healthcare clusters, and community partners. The role combines strategic thinking, data analysis, governance, and cross-agency coordination.
This role offers a unique perspective on programme coordination and orchestration across multiple agencies, providing valuable exposure programme planning, cross-agency collaboration, and system-level implementation within Singapore’s healthcare landscape.
- Support the development and execution of implementation plans for Healthier SG and Primary Care, translating strategic priorities into structured workplans, milestones, and measurable outcomes. This includes supporting cross-agency coordination efforts to ensure coherent and integrated implementation.
- Track progress against plans, identify gaps or delays, and recommend adjustments to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor key risks and issues, and coordinate follow-up actions to support smooth implementation.
- Analyse datasets to identify trends, risks, and potential implementation challenges; conduct scenario modelling to support capacity and resource planning.
- Work closely with data analytics teams, policy divisions, and operational stakeholders to ensure alignment between data insights, operational realities, and strategic priorities.
- Provide secretariat support for governance and programme meetings, including preparing materials, documenting decisions, and tracking follow-up actions.
Job Requirements
- At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, programme management, or inter-agency coordination.
- A recognised degree; background in public policy, public health administration, strategic/corporate planning, data analytics, or related disciplines will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and systems thinking skills, with experience working with data, projections, and performance metrics.
- Proven ability to translate strategies into actionable plans, monitor implementation progress, and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to synthesise complex issues and present clear, actionable recommendations to senior management.
