Overview

The Consortium for Clinical Research and Innovation Singapore (CRIS), a wholly owned subsidiary of MOH Holdings, was established in 2020 with the goal of strengthening synergies and promulgating strategies for national-level clinical research and translation programmes under the stewardship of the Singapore Ministry of Health. 

 

CRIS brings together seven national R&D, clinical translation and service programmes to advance clinical research and innovation for Singapore, and establish important capabilities for a future-ready healthcare system.

Manager, Corporate Communications

 

As part of the CRIS Corporate Communications team, you will develop and drive end-to-end communications and engagement strategy for CRIS and its programmes to communicate its strategic goals and ensure a unified message. This includes shaping the CRIS narrative by delivering inspiring and engaging communications to illustrate CRIS’s goals in keeping Singapore at the forefront of innovation by bringing together key national research programmes that will advance clinical research and innovation for Singapore and establish important capabilities for a future-ready healthcare system.

 

You will be involved in a wide range of communications work, including corporate branding, digital marketing and communications, media relations, stakeholder engagement and event management. Some examples include strengthening the CRIS identity, developing visual content for internal and external communications, rolling out publicity for CRIS's key initiatives via digital channels and mainstream media, and providing communications support to the various teams and key stakeholders in CRIS.

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

 

Strategic Comms and Brand Management

 

  • Develop marketing campaigns to support the outreach efforts of programmes within CRIS. This will include working with internal teams and stakeholders for information gathering, and vendor management
  • Strengthen CRIS and programmes’ brand presence through corporate branding and development (Develop brochures, design eGreetings, manage catalogue of corporate gifts)
  • Provide graphic design and logistics support for events run by CRIS programmes (Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Webinars, Roadshows), and align these with the communications strategy to promote the goals of CRIS and its BUs
  • Plan and manage external agencies / vendors to develop campaigns aligned to communications objectives (design, marketing, public relations)
  • Provide operational, administration and logistical support (Develop communications-related working instructions and protocols, support procurement administration for the department)

 

Digital Marketing and Content Creation

 

  • Support team lead in implementation of social media strategy in alignment with CRIS’ strategic goals
  • Draft and edit content for social media posts (LinkedIn)
  • Manage editorial pipeline of website articles for programmes within CRIS
  • Support team lead in tracking the effectiveness of social media campaigns and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain organisation’s photo repository
  • Ensure CRIS corporate website is up to date

 

Public relations and Media Engagement

 

  • Support team lead to plan and execute media strategies for high key events by CRIS and its programmes
  • Draft press releases, ensure clearance with multiple stakeholders and liaise with media outlets
  • Support the department’s public relations and media engagement efforts through media pitches
  • Plan and manage external agencies / vendors to develop campaigns / programmes to achieve communications objectives 
     

Requirements

 

  • At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications and/or related work, experience in design, digital communications, and marketing communications will be advantageous
  • An eye for compelling and effective visual communications
  • Experience in digital media content creation, curation and platform management (e.g. LinkedIn)
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite / Canva is preferred (Please submit design portfolio)
  • Proficient in writing for various audiences (scientific community / members of the public), with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts and technologies in an engaging way, will be advantageous
  • Possess strong project management and critical thinking skills. Ability to lead and execute projects independently, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the project runs smoothly, achieving the key objectives and goals set.
  • A strong team player, self-motivated and able to multi-task well
  • Proactive with an excellent eye for detail
  • Experience in Government sector and Healthcare research (or related) industry will be advantageous
