The Consortium for Clinical Research and Innovation, Singapore (CRIS) brings together six national R&D, clinical translation and service programmes to advance clinical research and innovation for Singapore and establish important capabilities for a future-ready healthcare system. The Business Entities under CRIS include:

NHIC


The National Health Innovation Centre Singapore (NHIC), is a nationally-appointed Innovation and Enterprise Office that works with Public Health Institutions across Singapore to identify and commercialise promising clinical innovations. We fund the translation and development of medical innovations from Singapore’s clinical sector, and provide strategic guidance and connection to industry partners, accelerating the pathway to impact in healthcare. NHIC programmes catalyse the translation of clinical innovations towards commercially viable products that benefit patients and healthcare.  Established since 2014, we have supported many projects and companies in the development and implementation of innovative medical technologies and services, improving the standard of healthcare in Singapore and beyond. NHIC is part of the Consortium for Clinical Research and Innovation Singapore (CRIS). 

 

 

What you will be working on

 

The Role: 

The incumbent will manage NHIC’s project implementation operation functions and processes for Clinical Adoption that include:

1. Working with project teams and stakeholders to enable/manage/track implementation/long-term adoption/deliverables of selected technologies at Public Health Cluster (PHCs). This includes:

• Engaging relevant PHCs, project teams and ecosystem partners and stakeholders, including MOH, to enable project teams to achieve objectives/deliverables.

• Working with PHCs on streamlining/smoothening policies/processes/frameworks to enable long-term adoption of relevant innovation/technologies

• Up-keeping of databases on grant applications, budget utilisation, and KPIs for management reporting.

2. Work collaboratively as part of NHIC in providing technology due diligence and project management, for healthcare innovation projects and other necessary duties in order to achieve organisational milestones.

3. Support business partnership and secretariat duties

 

 

Qualifications

• Good Degree in Sciences and Engineering or other relevant disciplines; Business Administration/Management with strong exposure to tech, post-grad degree in sciences and engineering not required but advantageous.

• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in one or more of the functions described above; exposure to implementing digital and AI projects in healthcare is advantageous.

• Preferably with strong project management experience in implementing innovation projects in hospital environment and familiarity with hospital processes, management/administration, innovation fund/grant management.

• A professional team player who can facilitate discussions amongst different stakeholders and drive shared goals

• Preferably experience in healthcare management/administration, innovation fund/grant management; those with experience in healthcare innovation processes/grant/performance would have an advantage

• Possess essential IT skills – MS Office, email, device Apps, social media. Knowledge in data management, digital transformation is preferred

• Good organisational, written and presentation skills, coupled to interpersonal, communications and writing skills; able to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams effectively
