Overview
The Consortium for Clinical Research and Innovation, Singapore (CRIS) brings together six national R&D, clinical translation and service programmes to advance clinical research and innovation for Singapore and establish important capabilities for a future-ready healthcare system. The Business Entities under CRIS include:
- Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI)
- National Health Innovation Centre (NHIC)
- Advanced Cell Therapy and Research Institute, Singapore (ACTRIS)
- Precision Health Research, Singapore (PRECISE)
- Singapore Translational Cancer Consortium (STCC)

CADENCE
The Cardiovascular Disease National Collaborative Enterprise (CADENCE) is a national program for Cardiovascular Research that aims to strengthen the overall impact of cardiovascular research and translation by integrating existing capabilities, and bringing together the strongest basic, clinical and translational talent and expertise across Singapore. This programme will be under the Ministry of Health Holdings (MOHH) Pte Ltd and anchored by the cardiovascular research programmes and commercialization platforms of the program’s research partners (NHCS, NUHCS, TTSH, KTPH, NTFGH, CGH, SKH, NUS, DUKE-NUS, LKC school of medicine and A*STAR).
Role Overview:
The Senior Executive will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the development and maintenance of public engagement, patient advocacy, and regional clinical research network initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Public Engagement:
- Working closely with the Manager to develop and implement strategies to enhance public awareness and understanding of clinical research
- Organise and manage public outreach events and educational programmes
- Create and maintain informational materials for diverse audiences
Patient Advocacy:
- Working closely with the Manager to develop programmes to support patient involvement in clinical research
- Liaise with patient advocacy groups to understand their needs and concerns
Regional Clinical Research Network:
- Coordinate activities across the regional clinical research network
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between network partners
- Support the expansion and development of the network
- Work closely with operations team to oversee the project conducted through the network is progressing according to the timeline
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, and community organisations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management)
- 5+ years of experience in clinical research, public health, or related fields
- Strong understanding of clinical research processes and regulations
- Experience in public engagement and stakeholder management
- Good team player, independent, dynamic and self-driven with good interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
