ACTRIS


The Advanced Cell Therapy and Research Institute, Singapore (ACTRIS) was established to meet the increasing clinical demand of using cellular therapeutics to treat various life-threatening diseases. ACTRIS’ vision is to be the national and regional Centre of Excellence for discovery, process development and manufacturing of cellular-based therapeutics across the broad spectrum of immunotherapy and regenerative medicine, encompassing both investigational and approval products for the local market. We also provide value-added services such as workforce training, regulatory facilitation and ancillary material standardization, pertaining to delivery of cellular therapy to patients.


What you will be working on


(1) Administrative scientific work (e.g., material qualification, receipt of materials, suppliers' qualification, inventory check, procurement) with internal and external parties including 3rd party testing labs.

(2) Maintenance of all aspects of Translational Laboratories including equipment, alarms, etc. 

(3) Preparation and execution of all necessary activities to perform mock / engineering runs for processes / assays in Translational Laboratories. 

(4) Perform hands-on laboratory tasks including training for incoming projects until completion of process / assay validation. 

(5) Perform routine and repetitious work within defined parameters.

(6) Perform other necessary intra- or inter-department activities as assigned by Reporting Officer.

 

What we are looking for


(1) Minimally Bachelors in Life Engineering (Chemical/Biomedical), Biotechnology, Life Sciences or equivalent. Training will be provided for those without experience, although 3 - 5 years of relevant of experience will be an advantage. 

(2) Proficient in cell culture work and molecular work, with sterile or aseptic processing knowledge and experience. (e.g. cell seeding, passaging, harvesting, and cryopreservation)

(3) Require high degree of attention to detail and must be meticulous to maintain accurate records of laboratory activities.

(4) Able to work as a team, and to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.

(5) Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic team player with demonstrated history of adaptability.

(6) Able to work independently and to utilize resources efficiently.

(7)  Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
