The Consortium for Clinical Research and Innovation, Singapore (CRIS) brings together six national R&D, clinical translation and service programmes to advance clinical research and innovation for Singapore and establish important capabilities for a future-ready healthcare system. The Singapore Translational Cancer Consortium (STCC) aims to strengthen the overall impact of cancer research and translation in Singapore by bringing together key basic, clinical and translational teams on joint platforms to actively establish and implement collaborative cancer programmes. STCC is part of the Consortium for Clinical Research and Innovation Singapore (CRIS) umbrella of research-related business entities.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

The ideal candidate will be part of the Strategic Planning and Development Office, supporting the implementation and execution of initiatives and activities within STCC. You will work with stakeholders including researchers, clinicians, and external partners from government entities, private companies, and academic institutes, to drive the successful delivery of research initiatives. Your key tasks are:

 

  • Work closely with Programme Manager in overseeing the day-to-day admin/ops related activities, coordinating activities and initiatives across STCC and research partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with relevant stakeholders (e.g. CRIS Corporate Communications, STCC platforms) on STCC public relations matters and outreach activities (e.g. STCC LinkedIn, newsletters, website).
  • Undertake secretariat role for meetings e.g. liaise with relevant stakeholders, draft minutes, collate materials, coordinate appointments for Board members and consultant panels.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, retreat, activities, team building, new staff orientation, and related planning, preparation, logistics and follow up.
  • Perform other ad-hoc and admin/ops related duties as assigned e.g. budget management and procurement matters.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, life sciences, or corporate communications is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector or corporate communications is preferred.
  • Team player, proactive and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
