ACTRIS

The Advanced Cell Therapy and Research Institute, Singapore (ACTRIS) was established to meet the increasing clinical demand of using cellular therapeutics to treat various life-threatening diseases.ACTRIS’ vision is to be the national and regional Centre of Excellence for discovery, process development and manufacturing of cellular-based therapeutics across the broad spectrum of immuno therapy and regenerative medicine, encompassing both investigational and approval products for the local market. We also provide value-added services such as workforce training, regulatory facilitation and ancillary material standardization, pertaining to delivery of cellular therapy to patients.


What you will be working on:

 

Logistics management:

 

The Logistics Executive supports day-to-day logistics operations, including warehouse / store activities, cold chain handling, and transportation coordination, ensuring materials and products are received, stored, handled, and dispatched accurately and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

The role supports maintenance of validated storage and transport conditions and ensures logistics activities are performed according to approved procedures. 

 

Warehouse / Store Operations

 

  • Support daily warehouse and store activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Verify incoming and outgoing materials against documentation
  • Ensure proper segregation of:
    • Quarantined, approved, and rejected materials
    • Temperature-controlled and ambient materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and system transactions
  • Ensure good housekeeping and adherence to SOPs 

 

Cold Chain & Temperature-Controlled Handling

 

  • Handle temperature-sensitive materials according to defined requirements
  • Support operation of cold rooms, refrigerators, Cryo-preservation tank and freezers
  • Use and manage temperature monitoring devices and data loggers
  • Perform routine temperature checks and recordkeeping
  • Escalate temperature excursions and deviations promptly 

 


Transportation & Dispatch Support

 

  • Prepare materials and products for shipment according to packing and transport instructions
  • Coordinate with couriers and logistics service providers
  • Ensure shipping documentation is complete and accurate
  • Support loading, unloading, and handover of shipments
  • Track shipments and report delivery status issues 

 

Validation & Compliance Awareness (Logistics Scope)

 

  • Demonstrate basic understanding of validated storage and transport conditions
  • Follow approved procedures related to:
    • Storage qualification o Temperature mapping
    • Cold chain transportation requirements
  • Ensure validated conditions are maintained during routine operations
  • Support documentation required for audits and inspections 

 

 

Documentation & Quality Support

 

  • Complete logistics records accurately and in a timely manner
  • Support deviation reporting and investigation as required
  • Follow change control requirements related to logistics processes
  • Support internal audits, inspections, and stock checks

Inventory Control Support

 

  • Support stock checks, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation
  • Monitor expiry dates and report at-risk materials
  • Assist in preventing stock discrepancies and losses 

 

 

Safety & Compliance

 

  • Follow safety, GMP, and site rules at all times
  • Ensure safe handling of materials and equipment
  • Report safety hazards, near misses, or non-compliances 

 

What we are looking for:

 

Education:

 

  • Diploma / Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field Technical Knowledge & Skills
  • Basic warehouse and logistics operations
  • Handling of temperature-sensitive materials
  • Understanding of SOP-driven environments
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems or WMS
  • Familiarity with data loggers and temperature records is an advantage
  • Familiarity with Cleanroom Gowning

  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious
  • Able to respond calmly to operational issues

 

What you need to know
